I operate a Stanton Jimmy Jib which can be sized for your specific shot. With its modular design and great flexibility, the Jimmy Jib has become an industry standard making it the most popular lightweight portable camera crane. It builds quickly in just about any location imaginable, in sizes from 6ft to 40ft, and breaks down for easy transport. Alternatively, two or three people can carry the Jimmy Jib as a partially rigged arm. The Jimmy Jib can be built on a 4 wheel studio dolly or on a custom off-road dolly with larger tires for maneuvering over outdoor terrains. For more mobile scenarios, I use a custom flatbed mount that can be installed on a 4X6 Gator cart or stake bed truck for when the shot needs to be on the go.
Just about any camera will work with the Jimmy Jib but each camera is unique. Physically, the Jimmy Jib is able to handle quite heavy cameras. I’ve had anything from DSLRs to RED and Arri Alexas.

If you know the RED camera family, then there’s no explanation necessary. Accessorize however you want to rig it to suit your cinematic extension and expression. Both models are available for rent and we can crew ACs as well as operators .
RED WEAPON HELIUM is an 8k monster. Massive resolution with 16.5 stops of dynamic range makes the Helium a perfect camera to capture razor sharp images that will pop with extreme high quality.
RED EPIC DRAGON puts out an impressive 6k picture resolution also with a latitude of 16.5 stops. The Dragon has a maximum image area of 6144 (h) x 3160 (v).
SONY FS7 is a tried and true workhorse when it comes to cranking out shots. A capable machine, the FS7 is a good choice if you plan on doing a lot of handheld work thanks to its ergonomic design. It can quickly be outfitted with an assortment of lenses, handheld rigs, and follow focus systems. Framerates: 4K up to 60p and UHD up to 60 fps, HD up to 180FPS.
